Dr. Annapurni Subramaniam serves as the Director of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore.
Dr. Annapurni finished her schooling from Victoria College, Palakkad, in science. She completed her PhD at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics and her thesis was titled, Studies of star clusters and stellar evolution.
She is an active member of the International Astronomical Union.
